2022 Denver Nuggets Dancers Auditions

Denver Nuggets Dancers perform at all home games in the Denver Nuggets season, including pre-season exhibitions, regular-season games, and NBA Playoffs. Dancers also have opportunities to:

• Participate in community service projects.

• Inspire young dancers through the DND Juniors dance program.

• Perform at multiple non-game events throughout the year.

• Perform for national television audiences.

• Receive benefits from multiple sponsors including hair styling, tanning, and fitness memberships

• Get paid to dance while making lifelong friends!

2022 Audition Schedule

Preliminary Auditions:

• Online Audition Registration Due: 5pm on Wed July 6

• Audition Material Instruction (In-Person & Virtual): 6pm on Thurs July 7 @ Ball Arena

• In-Person Preliminary Audition: 2pm on Sat July 9 @ Ball Arena

Semi-Finals:

• Sunday, July 10 – 2pm @ Ball Arena

• Finalists announced by 8pm

Finalists’ Training Camp: Monday – Friday, July 11-15

• Monday - Individual Interviews scheduled between 12pm and 5pm; Dance Rehearsal: 7:30pm-10:30pm

• Tuesday - Individual Interviews scheduled between 12pm and 5pm; Photo Shoot & Uniform Fitting: 6:00pm-10:00pm

• Wednesday - Individual Interviews scheduled between 9am and 12pm; Dance Rehearsal: 7:30-10:30pm

• Friday – Public Appearance and Dance Performance (Time TBD); Dance Rehearsal: 6:30pm-9:30pm

Choreography Showcase / Final Dance Audition: Sunday, July 17

• Check-in: 2pm @ Ball Arena

• 2022-23 DND Announced by 8pm

Audition Requirements:

All dancers must:

• be at least 18 years of age (by July 9, 2022) or 17 years of age with a parent or guardian permission

• hold a high school diploma or equivalent education

• wear athletic attire and shoes with non-marking soles

• submit non-returnable 8" x 10" headshot

• submit a dance resume including any previous dance teams, classes or workshops, current employment and training, educational background, and 3 professional references

• complete and submit the 2022 DND Audition Registration Form and the 2022 Liability Waiver & Release.

• have reliable transportation to and from all DND practices and at least 85% of the home games in the Denver Nuggets 2022-23 season (schedule TBD).
